Benjamin House

Ben House won the League One title with Lincoln City in 2023/24, the season that took the club up to the Championship.

House came through the Reading academy, which he joined in 2016 after starting out at Aldershot Town. He signed his first professional contract in July 2017 but never played a senior league match for the club. His only first-team outing was as a substitute in an FA Cup tie against Cardiff City in January 2020.

Development came elsewhere. He went on loan to Swindon Town in January 2019 and made six appearances. At Dagenham & Redbridge he had two spells, the first between November 2019 and January 2020. Two goals in three appearances came in that first spell. The second, from January to May 2020, brought six appearances without a goal.

In August 2020 he joined Eastleigh as a free agent. He played 56 times for the club in all competitions and scored 13 goals. That return brought a move to Lincoln City on 24 January 2022, for an undisclosed fee.

He has made more than 100 appearances and scored more than 20 goals for Lincoln. In August 2023 he signed a contract extension that runs to 2025, with options taking it to 2028. He is a right-footed player deployed on the left wing, and he remains with the club.
