About the player
Bárbara Latorre has worn the shirts of six clubs before arriving at Torreense. She came through Prainsa Zaragoza, where she finished as top scorer in consecutive seasons, before Espanyol picked her up and she again led the line as the club's leading marksman in 2013–14.
The move to Barcelona, in 2015, brought her into contact with silverware for the first time: she lifted the Copa de la Reina twice, in 2017 and 2018, and 85 appearances in Catalonia. Spells at Real Sociedad and then Atlético Madrid followed, and it was with the Madrid side that she added a third domestic cup, winning the Copa de la Reina again in the 2022–23 campaign. In March of that season she was also named the club's "Jugadora Cinco Estrellas".
Her only experience outside Spain came at AS Roma, where she featured in Serie A and made two appearances in the Champions League. She returned to Spanish football with Deportivo La Coruña, playing 51 matches before her current move to Torreense Women.
At international level, Latorre made her debut for Spain in September 2016 in a Euro 2017 qualifier against Montenegro, a match Spain won 13–0. She went on to earn more than twenty caps, scoring her only goal for the national team against Israel during 2019 World Cup qualification, and was part of the squad that won the Algarve Cup in 2017 and reached the final of the Cyprus Cup the following year.
