About the player
Colby Bishop was in the PFA Team of the Year for EFL League One in 2023–24, the season Portsmouth won the title and went up to the Championship.
Bishop signed his first professional contract with Notts County in November 2014 and made his senior debut for the club that year. He stayed until 2016, with a loan spell at Gloucester City in between. He then played for Worcester City from 2016 to 2017, Boston United in 2017, and Leamington for two seasons.
Accrington Stanley signed him in 2019 for an undisclosed fee, and he played for them until 2022.
For Portsmouth he has scored 56 goals in 171 league appearances.
