About the player
Claudinei came up through Palmeiras' youth ranks and was promoted to the professional squad in 2020, though a first-team appearance never arrived. He was part of the squad during the club's 2021 Copa Libertadores triumph, spending that year instead on loan at Água Santa in the Campeonato Paulista Série A2. Palmeiras released him in 2023.
He then joined Grêmio Novorizontino, starting out with the under-20 side in competitions such as the Copa São Paulo de Juniores before working his way into the first team. He played for Concórdia Atlético Clube in the Série D in 2023, a loan at Novo Hamburgo in 2024 before returning to Novorizontino that August, and a stint at Santa Cruz in the Campeonato Pernambucano the same year.
Claudinei moved to FC Gagra in 2023, making 16 appearances in the Erovnuli Liga. He left for Samtredia in March 2025 on a free transfer, then returned to Gagra in July 2025, again on a free move, signing until the end of the year with reports pointing to an extension into 2026. He plays as a right-footed defender and has not featured for Brazil at any youth or senior level.
