Cristian Petrișor Mihai

Cristian Mihai made the leap from third-division loan spells to Romania's biggest transfer market in the space of two years. A product of the UTA Arad academy, he spent the 2022–23 season on loan at Progresul Pecica before returning to make his senior debut for UTA in July 2023. From there he became a fixture in the side, going on to make 65 league appearances for the Arad club.

It took until 14 December 2024 for Mihai to score his first professional goal, in a league match against Oțelul Galați. In April 2025, Dinamo București moved for him in a deal reported at between €350,000 and €425,000, paid in installments. The fee stands as the highest Dinamo have paid for a player in 13 years. UTA Arad kept a 20% cut of any future sale.

Mihai has also built a steady presence at youth international level. He won two caps for Romania's under-20s in 2023, scoring once — a goal against England U20 that stood out enough to be remembered on its own terms. He has since moved up to the under-21 side, appearing 12 times and scoring twice since 2024.
