About the player
Denizhan Taşkan spent most of his youth years in Turkish national-team colours. Across four age groups he played 135 times for his country: 25 caps and five goals for the under-16s, 29 and four for the under-17s, 51 and 16 for the under-19s, and 30 and nine for the under-21s. He has not been capped by the senior side.
His club route began at Kuşadasıspor, where he played as a youngster, before he moved to the academy of Ümraniyespor. There he played for the under-19 and under-21 sides from 2017 to 2019 and then stepped up to the senior squad. He stayed with the club until 2023, but spent the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons on loan at 1461 Trabzon FK, also known as Hekimoğlu Trabzon.
After leaving Ümraniyespor he played two seasons for Kırklarelispor, in 2023/24 and 2024/25. In 2025/26 he was at Adana 01 Futbol Kulübü, which is also listed as Adana 1954 FK.
In the summer of 2026 he joined Mardin 1969 Spor, also known as Mardin BB, on a free transfer. He signed a two-year contract running from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2028. The move takes him into the Trendyol 1. Lig for the 2026/27 season. He is a right-footed attacker who mainly plays on the right wing or just behind the striker.
