Daniil Plotnikov

Daniil Plotnikov made his Arsenal Tula debut on 13 July 2026, coming on in the 47th minute for Ilya Zhigulev in the opening round of the 2026/27 First League season. Tula beat Tekstilshchik Ivanovo 2:1. He had signed a contract running to 30 June 2029 in February, arriving on a free transfer.

He came through the U16, U17 and U19 sides and joined Spartak-2 in January 2024.

In the Youth Football League that year he scored against Lokomotiv in June. He was named among the most productive players of the 2024 season, together with Egor Sysoev and Daniil Bortsov.

The loan at Khimik was his first extended run in men's football. On 5 March 2025 he went to Khimik Dzerzhinsk of the Second League, Division B, for the season. He made 22 appearances, scored five goals and set up four. In May of that year he was called up to the Russia U20 squad for a training camp and friendlies against Oman. The loan ended on 31 December 2025, and he returned to Spartak-2 before the move to Tula.

At U21 level he has made five appearances without scoring, including matches against Belarus in October 2025, Uzbekistan in March 2026 and Iraq U23 in June 2026. He was named in the final 25-man group for the September–October 2026 camp under Ivan Shabarov, which included friendlies against North Macedonia and Serbia.
