Danila Prokhin

Danila Prokhin came up through Zenit Saint Petersburg's academy, arriving via the club's Gazprom programme after starting out at Fakel Kirishi under coach Sergey Malafeev. He made his first-team debut for Zenit in October 2019, and over the following two seasons won two Russian Premier League titles, the Russian Cup and the Russian Super Cup, though his own appearances for the senior side were limited to eight matches.

A loan to FC Sochi in February 2021 provided him with regular football, and that June his career took an unusual turn: he moved to Rostov as part of a deal in which Dmitri Chistyov moved the other way to Zenit for €3.25 million, with no separate fee attached to Prokhin. He was sent straight back to Sochi on loan for the 2021–22 season, making 25 league appearances as the club finished as runners-up in the Russian Premier League.

Rostov then loaned him to FC Orenburg from December 2023, an arrangement extended through the 2024–25 season and including an option to buy. He made 25 appearances in his second season there. After a defeat to Dynamo Makhachkala in November 2024, Prokhin was sent off for directing obscene language at referee Kirill Levnikov, and the RFU Disciplinary Committee handed him a two-match ban.

He returned to Rostov in June 2025. Prokhin has represented Russia at every youth level from under-16 to under-21, and was called up to the senior national team's September 2023 camp, though he has yet to make his competitive debut for the first team.
