About the player
Roma paid an initial €25.6 million, with up to €4 million more in add-ons, for Eseosa Sule in July 2024. It was a large fee for a forward who had played one full top-flight season, on loan.
That season was at Frosinone in 2023–24. Sule scored 11 goals in 36 Serie A appearances. At Juventus, which owned his contract, he had made 15 senior appearances and scored once.
His route to Turin began in Argentina. He was with Kimberley from 2009 to 2015, then with Vélez Sarsfield until 2020, before moving to Juventus. He spent two seasons, 2021 to 2023, with Juventus Next Gen, the club's under-23 side, and then went on loan to Frosinone.
Roma was the longer test. Over two seasons there he played 63 times and scored 13 goals.
In July 2026 he moved to St. Mirren for the 2026–27 season and took the number 9 shirt.
At youth level he has played for Argentina at under-15, under-20 and under-23 level. He has no senior caps for Argentina and is eligible to play for Italy.
