About the player
Emirhan Demircan came through Bayern Munich's academy after starting out at TSV Milbertshofen and TSV 1860 Munich. He played senior football for Bayern Munich II before Jong Utrecht signed him in June 2025 on a free transfer.
Born in Munich, Demircan holds both Turkish and German citizenship and has chosen to represent Turkey at international level. He was part of the Turkey under-17 side that won its championship in 2022, and he carried that form into the under-19 team, where he scored 16 goals in one season and 18 in another. At under-21 level he has continued to contribute regularly in front of goal, scoring against Belarus, Albania and Georgia during qualifying for the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, taking his tally for the age group to six goals in 12 appearances.
His performances for the youth sides earned him a call-up to the senior Turkey squad, named by manager Vincenzo Montella for Euro 2024 qualifiers. In July 2026 he moved on loan from Utrecht to SC Telstar, a switch that will give him a fresh run of senior football in the Netherlands.
