About the player
Ewan Otoo came through Celtic's academy after joining as an eight-year-old from Eastwood Boys Club, signing his first professional contract with the Glasgow club in June 2019. A loan at Clyde in March 2021 gave him his first taste of senior football, with 13 league appearances, before he returned to captain Celtic B in the Lowland League through the 2022–2023 season.
February 2023 brought a loan move to Dunfermline Athletic, where he helped the club win the Scottish League One title. He made the switch permanent that June once his Celtic contract expired, and went on to make 77 league appearances for the Fife club, scoring five goals.
Otoo joined Rotherham United in August 2026 on a two-year deal with the option of a third, arriving on the back of a successful trial. He scored against York City and setting up a goal against Chesterfield across his opening eight appearances.
At international level, Otoo represented Scotland at under-17 level, winning two caps in 2018. He also qualifies for Ghana through his parents, though he has not featured for them.
