Florent Mollet

Florent Mollet arrived at Lausanne-Sport at the age of 33. He made his senior debut for Dijon in Ligue 2, but it was in the Coupe de France with Dijon that he produced the standout run of his career: seven goals in four matches during the 2014–15 edition, including hat-tricks against Vichy and 3 Rivières and an extra-time winner against Caen.

After Dijon's relegation, Mollet moved on a free transfer to Créteil, then to Metz, before joining Montpellier in the summer of 2018 for a fee in the region of two to three million euros. Over four seasons he scored 21 goals in 126 league appearances and was voted the club's Player of the Month for October 2020, having also been nominated for the UNFP Goal of the Month that February.

A move to Schalke 04 in 2022 did not work out in the same way — nine league appearances and a single goal preceded a January transfer back to France with Nantes, where he made 57 league appearances and scored five goals before his release in 2025. He was runner-up for Nantes' Player of the Month award in October 2023. Mollet has never been capped by France at senior or youth level. He joined Lausanne-Sport in October 2025 on a one-year deal with the option of a further season.
