Filip Bilbija

Filip Bilbija scored 15 league goals for SC Paderborn 07 in the 2025/26 2. Bundesliga season, and one more in the promotion play-offs against VfL Wolfsburg, as the club won a place in the Bundesliga for 2026/27.

He arrived in 2023 on a free transfer from Hamburger SV, where he had made 13 league appearances and scored once. At Paderborn he became the club's top scorer. His first season brought nine goals in 30 league games, and his second nine in 33. Across three seasons he played 89 league matches for the club and scored 33 goals, 35 in all competitions.

Bilbija grew up in Berlin, in the youth systems of Tennis Borussia Berlin and Hertha Zehlendorf, before moving to FC Ingolstadt 04. He made his senior debut for the club's second team in 2019, then moved up to the first team. He played 86 league games for Ingolstadt and scored 12 goals. In 2021 the club won promotion to the 2. Bundesliga.

His contract at Paderborn expired in July 2026, and he joined Derby County of the EFL Championship on a free transfer. He had made two appearances for the club by September.

Bilbija is of Montenegrin and Serbian descent. He has played for Germany at U19, U20 and U21 level, but has not been capped by the senior side of Germany or of Serbia.
