About the player
Florian Haxha arrived at Motor Lublin in June 2025 on a free transfer, having run down his contract at Kapfenberger SV. The Ekstraklasa club announced a two-year deal to 30 June 2027, with an option for a further year.
He is a Berliner by upbringing. He started at SG BW Hohenschönhausen, moved to Berliner FC Dynamo, and in 2015 joined the Hertha BSC academy, where he stayed for six years. He made his debut for Hertha BSC II in July 2021 and played 70 league games for the reserves over two seasons, scoring six goals. He left as a free agent.
The next step was Austria. Kapfenberger SV signed him in September 2023 on a two-year contract. He played 51 league games there and again scored six goals. In the 2024/2025 season he added seven assists.
His international path runs through Kosovo. He played twice for the under-17s in 2019 and made 12 appearances for the under-21s between 2022 and 2024, seven of them in European Under-21 Championship qualifying. The senior debut came on 13 June 2025, a friendly against Armenia in which he came on as a substitute in the 64th minute. He also featured in the following friendly against Comoros, and has not yet scored for the national team.
