Florian Miguel

Florian Miguel is a French left-footed defender, born to a French mother and a Portuguese father, who came through the youth ranks at Tours FC. He signed his first professional contract there in 2015 and became a regular in a defence that put together the second-best record in Ligue 2 during the 2015–16 season.

A free transfer took him from Tours to Nîmes Olympique in 2018, where he spent three seasons before moving to Spain to join SD Huesca in 2021. That change came in July 2024, when he returned to Spain as a free agent to sign for Burgos CF on a two-year deal.

He marked his competitive debut for the club with a header, a reminder of his threat in the air, and went on to make around 80 appearances across two seasons at Burgos, scoring twice and setting up three further goals. Discipline was an issue at times, with 12 yellow cards picked up in the 2025–26 season alone. His contract at Burgos ran its course, and in July 2026 he moved again as a free agent, this time to FC Metz, signing a two-year deal that runs until 2028.
