About the player
Hugo Sochůrek made his senior debut for Sparta Praha in the 2025–2026 season. He wears the number 38 shirt for the Prague side.
Sochůrek is a product of Tábor, where he came through the youth academy of his hometown club, FC Táborsko, before Sparta Praha signed him for their youth system in 2020. He spent the following years working through the age groups in the Czech capital, also turning out for Sparta Praha B in the Czech National Football League before his promotion to the senior team.
His progress has been most visible on the international stage. Sochůrek moved steadily up the Czech Republic's youth ranks, representing the U16, U17, U18 and U19 sides in turn. That run of caps culminated in 2026, when he earned his first appearance for the senior Czech Republic national team.
A right-footed central midfielder, Sochůrek's rise has been built on internal progression rather than transfers between clubs — every step of his career so far has come from within the Sparta Praha academy structure or the national team pathway.
