Pavel Kadeřábek

He came through at AC Sparta Prague, and spent a season on loan at FK Viktoria Žižkov before coming back to Sparta and winning the Czech First League, the Czech Cup and the Czech Supercup in 2013–14.

In June 2015 he moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on a free transfer, signing a four-year deal that turned into a ten-year stay. Wearing the number 3 shirt, he became a fixture at right-back until his contract ran out in June 2025 and the club opted not to renew it, a decision that disappointed the club's supporters. He returned to Sparta Prague on a free transfer on 30 June 2025, again taking the number 3. By August 2026, his game time there had started to shrink under coach Brian Priske's tactical changes.

Internationally, Kadeřábek won 48 caps and scored three goals for the Czech Republic between 2014 and 2022. He played in all three group matches at UEFA Euro 2016, and at UEFA Euro 2020 he featured in the Round of 16 win over the Netherlands, his final appearance for the national side. He announced his international retirement on 10 March 2022, citing recurring calf muscle injuries and the physical toll they had taken over his career.
