Iván Martínez Gonzálvez

Iván Barbero spent most of his career answering to that name in Osasuna's academy rather than in its first team, working through 117 appearances and 41 goals for the reserve side. The 2018–19 campaign stands out: he finished as Osasuna B's top scorer in the Tercera División with 18 goals, a run that helped send the team back up to Segunda División B. First-team opportunities in Pamplona stayed scarce — a Copa del Rey debut in December 2019 and a La Liga bow in August 2021 bracketed only six league appearances without a goal, spread across nearly two years split by loan spells at UD Almería and AD Alcorcón, the latter yielding 32 appearances and two goals.

A free transfer took him to Deportivo de La Coruña in July 2023, where he became one of the side's more reliable scoring options and finished as top scorer of the 2023 Trofeo Teresa Herrera with two goals.

Barbero joined FC Arouca in July 2025 on a two-year deal, with reports from AiScore, Sport1 and Goals365 pointing to a transfer fee of around €300,000, though some databases record the move as a free transfer with compensation. The switch to Portugal has suited him: by May 2026 he had scored eight goals in 31 league appearances for Arouca in the 2025–26 season.
