About the player
Ibrahim Keïta has worn the shirt of clubs in eight different countries since leaving the Wolverhampton Wanderers academy in 2015, a route that took him through Slovakia, Greece, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Bulgaria before he signed for Dunav Ruse. He grew up in Vernon and came through French youth football with Vernon AP, SPN Vernon, Saint-Marcel Football and Évreux FC 27, joining Wolves in 2011, where he stayed until 2015.
His longest spell came at Bohemians 1905, where he spent four years between 2019 and 2023, making 62 league appearances and scoring seven goals for the first team. A loan at FK Příbram during that period produced three goals in 20 league matches. After leaving Prague, he went back to Ireland with Galway United, then to Slovenia with NK Tabor Sežana, before arriving in Bulgaria in August 2024.
That move has coincided with his most productive scoring form. He found the net six times in 16 league appearances for Etar Veliko Tarnovo in the 2024–2025 season, then added one more goal in 16 outings after a free transfer to Krumovgrad in January 2025. Since joining Dunav Ruse on a free transfer in July 2025 on a contract running to June 2027, he has been the club's leading scoring threat in the Vtora Liga, netting ten goals in 29 appearances in the 2025–2026 season and has already opened his account in the following campaign. He was called up to the France under-16 side earlier in his career but has not featured for a senior national team.
