Isaac Olaofe

Isaac Olaofe, known as Tanto, scored 20 goals in 43 games for Stockport County in 2023–24 and finished as the club's top scorer. No Stockport player had reached 20 in a Football League season since Luke Beckett in 2002–03. County won the League Two title that year.

His first Football League hat-trick came against Wrexham in September 2023. It was the first by a Stockport player since Carl Baker in 2009. He had joined the club on a permanent transfer in January 2023.

Olaofe came to Stockport by way of Millwall, which he joined at 14 after trials at Crystal Palace and county football for Kent. He signed his first professional contract there in May 2018. First-team chances were limited: two league appearances and one in the EFL Cup between 2019 and 2023. His development came on loan.

The most productive spell was at Sutton United. Between October 2020 and May 2021 he made 37 league appearances and scored 14 goals, and Sutton won the National League. He was named the club's Young Player of the Season. He returned for a third loan from August 2021 to May 2022 and scored eight goals in 27 league games. A short loan at Sutton in February 2020 had brought one goal in five appearances. A loan at St Johnstone from July 2020 ended by mutual consent in October after two appearances.

Charlton Athletic signed him on a three-year deal in July 2025. He went on loan to Lincoln City for the 2026–27 season. He was again an EFL Trophy runner-up in 2025–26 with Stockport.
