James Gullan

James Gullan, who also appears as Jamie, made his name at Raith Rovers. He first arrived on loan from Hibernian in February 2019, returned in August of that year, and stayed until January 2020. In that second spell he scored nine league goals as the club won Scottish League One and went up to the Championship.

Hibernian was where his senior career began. He signed his first professional contract there in 2017, having earlier been in the youth system at Heart of Midlothian, and in the 2017–18 season he scored in the 3–1 Scottish Youth Cup final win over Aberdeen with the Hibernian under-20s. First-team football came in pieces: loans to Gala Fairydean Rovers, Queen's Park and three separate periods at Raith Rovers.

In January 2022 Raith signed him permanently, and he stayed for two years. He then moved to Dundalk in January 2024 and returned to Raith on a short-term deal in January 2025.

Gullan joined St Johnstone on a free transfer in May 2025. In 2025–26 he was part of the squad that won the Scottish Championship and earned promotion to the Premiership.

At international level he was called up to the Scotland under-21 squad for European Championship qualifiers against Croatia and Greece, in March and November 2020. He did not play in either.
