About the player
Morgan came through the youth ranks at Chelsea before switching to Southampton, then returned to Chelsea permanently in February 2023 for an initial fee of £3 million, with add-ons that could take it to £6 million. He made no senior league appearances for the club. At Gillingham in 2024–25 he made 16 League Two appearances and scored twice.
That output at Peterborough preceded his move to West Bromwich Albion, who signed him from Chelsea in June 2026 for a fee reported at between £1.3 million and £4 million.
Morgan has also progressed through England's youth age groups. He scored 3 goals in 8 appearances at Under-16 level and 6 in 8 at Under-17, before adding 5 caps at Under-18 and 2 at Under-20.
