About the player
Peterborough have had Jimmy-Jay Morgan on loan from Chelsea since September 2025, and the striker has repaid the move with goals: twelve in League One and two more in the EFL Trophy, fourteen in all.
Morgan came through Chelsea's academy before spending six years at Southampton, then returned to Chelsea in a deal worth around £3 million. He has not made a senior league appearance for Chelsea itself, developing instead through the club's U21 side before going out on loan, first to Gillingham, where he scored twice in sixteen games, and now to Peterborough.
The right-footed forward, born in Poole, plays as a striker. He has no major honours to his name yet, his career so far built on loan spells rather than silverware.
