About the player
Joe Foulkes has twice won the National League North play-offs with Kidderminster Harriers, in 2022–23 and again in 2025–26. Each time the result was promotion to the National League.
The first of those came while he was on loan from Walsall. He entered their Talented & Gifted Development side at under-8 level and signed for the academy in the 2015–16 season. His first professional contract followed on 23 June 2021. At Kidderminster he was named Young Player of the Year for 2022–23, the season of the first play-off success.
His senior debut in the Football League came in 2023–24, when he played 18 League Two games for Walsall.
In July 2024 he left Walsall for Kidderminster on a permanent basis, on a contract running to 1 June 2026. The second promotion came under that deal, and he was named in the National League North Team of the Year for 2025–26.
On 16 June 2026 Grimsby Town announced his signing on a free transfer. The contract is for one year, with an option for a further year, and took effect on 1 July 2026. He is in the squad for the 2026–27 League Two season and is competing for the right-back place with Harvey Rodgers.
He has not been capped by England at any level.
