About the player
Jordan Zemura was born in London but plays international football for Zimbabwe. He made his debut for them against Algeria in a 3–1 defeat in 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying, and he was later named in the squad for the finals themselves. He has 22 caps as of May 2026 and was in the team that finished third at the 2026 Unity Cup.
His route to that point ran through south London. He spent five years in the Queens Park Rangers youth system, then joined Charlton Athletic, where he stayed until 2019. He also had a short trial at Chelsea, which did not lead to a contract.
Bournemouth signed him in 2019, and he turned professional with the club in 2020. He played 61 senior matches for them and scored three goals. His best-remembered season came in 2021–22, when Bournemouth finished second in the Championship and won promotion to the Premier League. He was the club's Player of the Month for August 2021.
In July 2023 he left on a free transfer for Udinese, signing a contract to 2027. By the end of the 2025–26 season he had made 65 appearances in Serie A and the Coppa Italia and scored twice.
In August 2026 he moved to Watford on loan from Udinese for the season.
