Kai Lukas Stratznig

Kai Stratznig was handed his Austrian Bundesliga debut by Wolfsberger AC as a substitute in a 4–2 loss to TSV Hartberg on 10 June 2020. His first start followed eleven days later, in a 2–2 draw with Red Bull Salzburg. He had come through the club's academy after joining from SC Mühldorf in 2016, and he also played for the reserve side, Wolfsberger AC II.

Salzburg were also the opponents when his progress was interrupted. In February 2022 he suffered a significant ankle injury against them that kept him out for an extended period. His contract with Wolfsberger expired at the end of that 2021–22 season, and he spent around six months without a club.

The way back came at First Vienna FC, whom he joined on a free transfer on 30 January 2023. He made 85 appearances for the Viennese side, and in March 2025 he signed a new contract running until 2027.

Before that, he had played for Austria at U21 level. He earned three caps, and his debut in March 2021 was a 10–0 win over Saudi Arabia. He was the youngest player in the training camp.

Off the pitch, he took part in the "ADMIRAL #LigaZwa Fan-Kommentatoren" challenge, working as a fan commentator on a Second League match between Ried and St. Pölten.

On 31 August 2026 he left First Vienna for ASK Voitsberg.
