Kevin Prieto

Kevin Prieto came through the youth ranks at Montevideo Wanderers before moving on as a free agent to Defensor Sporting. His senior debut did not come quickly: he had to wait until 27 November 2024 to step onto the pitch in the Primera División, away to Cerro Largo, in a match Defensor lost 3–0. The breakthrough followed a few months later, when he scored his first senior goal on 23 February 2025 against Plaza Colonia, a game in which he was a key figure as Defensor won 2–1. With Defensor Sporting, Prieto picked up the Copa Uruguay in 2024.

On 8 August 2025, Prieto completed a move to Portuguese side Casa Pia AC, with the transfer announced by the club the following day. He signed a four-year contract, tying him to Casa Pia until June 2029, and the Portuguese outfit now provide the stage for the Uruguayan forward to build on the platform he set at Defensor Sporting.

Prieto arrives in Portugal as a 184cm forward who favours his right foot, still with plenty of room to add to a senior career that only began in earnest at the end of 2024.
