About the player
Krys-Anthony Kouassi's biggest moment as a youth player came with a penalty in a French U17 final: Amiens SC beat Lille 5–3 on penalties after a 2–2 draw. It capped a rise that had already taken him through several youth clubs in the Paris region before Amiens picked him up in 2022 for their U19 side.
His senior breakthrough followed in November 2024, when he made his Ligue 2 debut for Amiens. He added further league appearances that season along with a cup outing, though a first senior goal has yet to arrive. On 10 July 2025, Cercle Brugge signed him from Amiens on a contract running until 2030. He has since made appearances in the Belgian top flight for his new club.
Kouassi has also represented France at youth international level, earning a cap for the under-16s in 2023 before stepping up to the under-18s, for whom he has continued to be selected. He is left-footed.
