About the player
Liam Hermesh arrived at Grazer AK. Born in Ramat Gan, he played for the under-19 side at Maccabi Haifa until signing his first senior contract with the club in July 2023.
He did not settle immediately in Haifa. He was sent out on loan to Hapoel Afula, spending a season away from the club that had developed him. Only after that spell ended did he go back to Haifa, and the stay was brief: he left on a free transfer to Grazer AK.
At international level, Hermesh has represented Israel at youth level, including a U18 friendly and a run of appearances for the U21s. He has not featured for the senior national team.
A right-footed defensive midfielder, Hermesh now wears the number 6 shirt at Grazer AK, the latest stop in a path that has taken him from Israeli academy football to two separate loan countries before he had turned twenty-two.
