Lawrence Ofori

Lawrence Ofori signed for Casa Pia AC in January 2026 on a free transfer, joining after mutually terminating his contract at Moreirense. The move brought the Ghanaian midfielder to Portuguese football's top flight.

Ofori started out at the West African Football Academy in Ghana before moving to Portugal to join Leixões. A loan at Feirense followed, and in July 2019 he signed permanently for Famalicão on a five-year contract. Finally, a move to Moreirense in August 2022.

The loan at Moreirense worked out well enough that the club pushed for promotion, and Ofori signed permanently that July on a free transfer once his Famalicão contract expired. The following season, 2022–23, was his best individually: Moreirense won the Liga Portugal 2 title, and Ofori was named to the division's Team of the Season and picked up the Midfielder of the Month award in both March and April 2023. He went on to make 60 appearances for the club before his departure by mutual agreement this January.

Ofori has also represented Ghana at international level.
