About the player
Léo Ribeiro scored on his debut for Džiugas Telšiai. He arrived in Lithuania in February 2021 after years in São Paulo state, including spells at Grêmio Osasco Audax, Juventus, Linense and São Bernardo. His first season in Telšiai brought seven goals in 24 matches and a place in the Team of the Round in July.
Cyprus followed. He joined Omonia Aradippou in August 2021 and stayed until September 2023, before returning to Lithuania with Hegelmann in February 2024.
In May 2024 he was named A Lyga Player of the Month, and Hegelmann finished the season as runners-up. He scored five goals in 35 matches that year. In 2025 he scored seven in 36 and again took the Player of the Month award for May.
In January 2026 he signed for Kauno Žalgiris on a free transfer. By September he had scored six goals in 26 matches for the club this season.
A right-footed winger, Ribeiro has not been capped by Brazil at any level.
