About the player
Luccas Claro scored on his debut for Eyüpspor, against Yeni Malatyaspor, having arrived in August 2022 as a free agent. In the 2023/24 season he helped the club win the TFF 1. Lig title and the promotion that came with it.
Coritiba took him into their youth system in 2007. A short loan at their rivals Clube Atlético Paranaense in 2009 was the only interruption before he returned. His senior debut for Coritiba came in 2011, and he went on to make more than 150 appearances for the club. The Campeonato Paranaense was won in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
In 2011 he also played for Brazil at under-20 level and scored twice. That group took part in the Pan American Games and won bronze.
Gençlerbirliği signed him on a free transfer in January 2017. He stayed two seasons before going back to Brazil. Fluminense signed him, again without a fee, in September 2019. With them he won the Campeonato Carioca and the Taça Guanabara in 2022, and he left for Eyüpspor that August.
His time in Istanbul ended in 2026, when he terminated his contract by mutual consent and joined Esenler Erokspor.
