About the player
Marcel Čermák's career has been a tour of the Czech and Slovenian lower and mid-tiers. Prague-born and product of Slavia Prague's youth system, he went out on loan to Viktoria Žižkov, where he made 38 league appearances and scored three goals in two seasons.
It was at SK Dynamo České Budějovice, from 2023, that Čermák's output picked up: 67 league appearances and six goals across two seasons persuaded FK Dukla Praha to sign him on a free transfer in January 2025. At Dukla he became a genuine creative force, racking up 52 competitive appearances, seven goals and five assists. That struggle ended in relegation from the Chance Liga, and in June 2026 Čermák moved on to FK Teplice, with Czech media citing a fee in the region of nine million korunas.
His representative career has stayed at youth level: three caps for the Czech Republic at Under-17 in 2015, with no call-up since to the senior side. He remains a right-footer, having not won a major team title or individual award at any stop along the way.
