About the player
Marius Corbu made his senior debut for FK Csíkszereda in September 2019, moving within months to Hungary to join Puskás Akadémia. Twice during his time there he was sent out on loan to Csákvár, spending the 2020–21 and 2021–22 seasons on the club's books.
He left Puskás Akadémia as a free agent in 2024 and signed for APOEL in Cyprus, where he won the Cypriot Super Cup that year. In January 2026 he moved on again, this time to Ferencvárosi TC, in a transfer reported at somewhere between €1.3 million and €1.5 million.
At international level, Corbu has been a regular for Romania's younger age groups. After two caps for the under-20s in 2021, he has since made 21 appearances and scored once, featuring across the 2023 and 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championships. A senior call-up has yet to follow, though his name has been mentioned in that context.
