Mark Helm

Mark Helm spent seven years at Manchester United. He joined the club's academy at the age of seven, in 2009, and worked his way up to the under-21s, where he made six appearances and scored twice in the EFL Trophy between 2019 and 2021. His contract expired that July, and he moved on a free transfer to Burnley.

Helm signed an 18-month deal with Burton Albion in January 2023. He became a regular starter there, making 56 league appearances and scoring eight goals across two seasons, form that persuaded Fleetwood Town to sign him on a three-year free transfer when his Burton contract ran out in July 2024.

At Fleetwood, Helm has made 80 league appearances for the club and scored 14 goals. He was named EFL League Two Player of the Month in March 2026 after contributing a goal or an assist in all six of Fleetwood's matches that month.

Helm has never been shown a red card in his senior career, at either Burton Albion or Fleetwood Town. He has yet to add international recognition to his club record, with no caps at senior or youth level for England, and has not won a major trophy since turning professional.
