About the player
Davies did not arrive at professional football through an academy conveyor belt. He came up through Ipswich Town's and Woodbridge Town's youth ranks before starting his senior career at non-league Coplestonians, where he scored 19 goals in 23 appearances.
That habit held at Leiston, where he spent five years and scored 53 goals in 125 Southern League appearances before he moved on. A loan at Bromley interrupted his time at York, and he left the club by mutual consent before signing for Sutton United in the summer of 2024.
He scored 18 goals in 44 appearances there, and in June 2025 he moved to Fleetwood Town for a fee Sutton United described as one of the largest in the club's history.
