Marlon Douglas de Sales Silva

Marlon came through the youth ranks at Porto PE in Pernambuco, staying tied to the club into 2021. Spells at Flamengo Arcoverde and Central Sport Club gave him regular minutes, but it was a loan to Oeste in 2020 that led him to Paysandu, first on loan and then, from 2021, as a permanent signing. That move proved the making of him: he finished the 2022 season as the club's top scorer with 16.

Those numbers were enough to take him to Europe. Gil Vicente signed him permanently in January 2023, though the switch to Portuguese football did not bring the same output — 23 appearances without a goal. Rather than force the issue, Gil Vicente sent him back to Brazil on loan to Guarani in early 2024, where he found the net once in 31 games across Série B and the Campeonato Paulista before returning to Portugal at the end of the loan.

In January 2025 he went back to Paysandu on a permanent deal, the club where he had already built his reputation, and added a further six goals in 35 matches as well as a Super Copa Grão-Pará title. He is now at Sport Recife, where he has made 33 appearances across all competitions this season, with a single goal and two assists to his name so far. He has not represented Brazil at any level.
