Martin Suchomel

Martin Suchomel came through Sparta Praha's academy, joining at the age of six in 2009 before signing his first professional contract in December 2021. He made his senior debut the following February, and that same season he was part of the squad that won the Czech Cup. A league title followed in 2022-23, Suchomel's first full campaign in and around the first team.

Before establishing himself at senior level, he spent two seasons with Sparta's B team, making 27 appearances and scoring once. A loan to FK Mladá Boleslav for 2023-24 gave him regular first-team football away from Prague, and he responded with 34 league appearances and two goals. He returned to Sparta for 2024-25 but made only 13 league appearances as the club finished fourth, missing out on the title he had won two years earlier.

In February 2026 he moved on loan again, this time to FC Hradec Králové for the rest of the season, with no transfer option or buy clause attached to the deal. At international level, Suchomel has represented the Czech Republic at under-17, under-18, under-20 and under-21 level, though a senior cap has so far eluded him.
