Mikhail Kozlov

Mikhail Kozlov made his debut for the Belarus national team at 36 years and 113 days old, which made him the oldest debutant in the side's history. His first call-up came in May 2026, and on 5 June he came on in the 67th minute of a friendly against Syria, which Belarus won 4-1. He has two caps at senior level.

The route there was a long one. Kozlov began at Dnepr Mogilev, the club of his home city, and spent six years there from 2008. He played 132 matches and scored once. In 2012 the team won the Belarusian First League. His only youth-level appearance for his country came in 2011, for the under-21 side.

He left Dnepr as a free agent in February 2015 and joined Vitebsk, where he stayed until 2019 and played 116 matches, scoring five goals. In December 2019 he signed for Dinamo Minsk, again on a free transfer, and remained there until the end of 2022. He made 67 appearances and scored twice.

In January 2023 he moved to Neman Grodno, and the club's recent honours came after that. Neman won the Belarusian Cup in both 2023/24 and 2024/25, and the Belarusian Super Cup in 2026. Kozlov has played 85 matches for the club and scored one goal.

Each of his moves was made on a free transfer. A national team call-up came only in his mid-thirties, after a decade and a half in the domestic league.
