Miles Libern

Miles Leaburn grew up in the Chelsea academy, having joined the west London club at around nine years old. He stayed until 2019, when he left for Charlton Athletic's academy at Under-16 level. He signed his first professional contract with Charlton in July 2022 and made his senior debut before that month was out.

His breakthrough season came in 2022–23, when he made 40 appearances in League One and scored 13 goals. The following campaign was interrupted, with his appearances dropping to 18, though he still contributed seven goals across all competitions.

Promotion brought a step up in level. In the Championship in 2025–26, Leaburn made 40 appearances but his goal return fell to four. Among those goals, one stood out: he scored against Chelsea, the club that released him as a teenager, in the FA Cup in January 2026. He signed a new contract with Charlton in July 2025.

Leaburn received a reported call-up to the England Under-21 squad in September 2023, though it did not lead to a cap. He is of Jamaican descent.
