Muhlis Dagashan

Muhlis Dağaşan's route to İstanbulspor ran through the Dutch football system. He left PSV Eindhoven when his contract expired and joined the Turkish club as a free agent on 3 September 2025, signing a deal that runs until 30 June 2030.

He grew up in the Netherlands and moved between youth sides before PSV. He started at FC Twente, spent two years at AFC Amsterdam from 2018, and entered the PSV academy in 2020. His first professional contract there came in 2022.

The senior game came through Jong PSV, the club's second team in the Eerste Divisie. He made his debut on 18 August 2023 against TOP Oss, and scored his first professional goal two weeks later, on 1 September, against FC Den Bosch. Across two seasons with Jong PSV he played 48 league matches, scoring twice and setting up two more. The 2024/25 season was when he became a regular starter.

Dağaşan has represented Turkey at youth level while also holding Dutch citizenship. He won six caps for the under-18s in 2021 and 2022 and six for the under-19s, including appearances in European Championship qualifiers. He added one cap for the under-20s in 2024. He has not yet played for the senior national team.

At İstanbulspor he has played 6 games in the Trendyol 1. Lig, about 443 minutes in all. He has neither scored nor assisted, and his passing has been accurate, at 86 per cent. The move to Turkey is his first experience of senior football outside the Dutch system.
