About the player
Ondřej Kukučka was part of the AC Sparta Praha squad that won the Czech First League in 2022/23, though he played none of the league matches that season. He spent the year with Sparta B in the second division. His first-team debut came in the MOL Cup in October 2022.
Sparta signed him that summer on a free transfer, after his contract with Baník Ostrava expired. He had come through the youth systems of FC Hlučín, MFK Vítkovice and, from 2017, Baník. The centre-back has since spent his time at Sparta out on loan.
The first loan was to FK Pardubice for 2023/24, where he played in the Czech First League. The second was to 1. FC Slovácko for 2024/25, where he scored one goal. In June 2025 he moved to Bohemians 1905 for a year. The agreement carried no option to buy, and Sparta gave up the right to recall him in the winter window. He has played six times for the club in the Chance Liga.
He has also played for the Czech Republic at youth level: six caps at under-15, five at under-16, four at under-19 and 11 at under-20. He has not yet been capped by the senior national team.
