About the player
Oskar Lenné's path to Ligue 2 ran almost entirely through Lens. Born in Amiens, the left-footed left-back started out at SC Abbeville CP before moving to US Camon, then joined the RC Lens academy at 15. He worked his way up through the club's youth structure, playing for the U19 side and appearing in the UEFA Youth League, before stepping into Lens B, where he made 33 appearances and scored three goals in National 3.
He was drawn into the senior Lens squad from January 2025 and was part of the group that won the Coupe de France that season, though his involvement stayed on the fringes of the first team, mostly as an unused substitute rather than someone who forced his way into matchday appearances. That season nonetheless gave him a taste of life around a title-winning squad without the minutes to go with it.
Lenné left Lens on a free transfer, moving to Boulogne in Ligue 2, where he has since made his first appearances at senior level. The switch gave him the regular football that had eluded him in the north.
