Pantaleo Creti

Pantaleo Creti was born in Italy to an Italian father and a Ugandan mother, and moved to Lecce at the age of four. He came through the academy at AC Monza, which he joined in the summer of 2022, playing for the club's U17 and U20 sides before leaving in July 2025. On 2 July 2025 he signed for Grasshopper Club Zürich on a free transfer, putting pen to paper on a contract running until 30 June 2028.

Creti made an immediate mark in Switzerland. Coming on as a substitute in the 83rd minute of his second appearance for the club, against FC Thun on 30 August 2025, he needed just one minute to get on the scoresheet, helping Grasshoppers to a draw. Through his early appearances in the Swiss Super League he has picked up no yellow or red cards.

Internationally, Creti has represented Italy at youth level, earning a cap for the U16s and two further appearances for the U17s. He was also named in Uganda's provisional squad for the U17 World Cup, reflecting his mother's nationality, though he has not made a competitive appearance that would formalise a switch of allegiance, and remains an Italy youth international in FIFA's records.

At Grasshopper Club Zürich, Creti wears the number 22 shirt and plays as a defender, and is also registered to feature for Grasshopper II, the club's reserve side.
