Peter Christiansen

Peter Christiansen scored 17 goals in 22 matches in his first season at Viking, which made him the club's top scorer in 2024. He had arrived from SønderjyskE in March that year for a fee of about €600,000 (roughly 7 million NOK) and signed a contract running to the end of 2027.

The following year brought the title. Christiansen scored 14 league goals in the 2025 Eliteserien as Viking won their ninth top-division championship with 71 points, one ahead of Bodø/Glimt. In the 2026 season he has 10 goals and 6 assists, second in the scoring list behind Rosenborg's Amin Chiakha.

Christiansen joined Haderslev FK at 12 and then moved to the SønderjyskE academy, making his senior debut for the club in December 2018. He was part of the squad that won the Danish Cup in 2019–20, appearing twice in the competition, though he did not play in the final against AaB.

His progress at SønderjyskE was not a straight line. A loan at FC Helsingør in 2021 produced three goals in 12 appearances, but it was ended early in December that year because he was not getting enough playing time. He returned and, in 2022, finished as SønderjyskE's top scorer in the Danish 1st Division. Over six years at the club he played 120 league matches and scored 34 goals.

Although he is Danish, Christiansen has not yet played for the senior national team.
