Ruslan Magal

Ruslan Magal's route to professional football ran through amateur and lower-league sides in the Voronezh region — FSA, Magnit, Fakel-M, Don-Podgornoe, Yelets, Don-Energo and Vybor-Kurbatovo — before he signed with the original FC Sochi club in 2015, where he scored twice in ten appearances. A move to Sibir Novosibirsk followed the same year, and he stayed for three seasons, making 84–89 league appearances. Spells at Baltika Kaliningrad and then Torpedo Moscow, where the club reached the quarter-finals of the Russian Cup in 2019/20, kept him at the level just below the Premier League.

It was at Fakel Voronezh that Magal became a fixture rather than a passenger. Signed in the summer of 2021, he made 86 appearances across all competitions as Fakel finished runners-up in the First Division and won promotion to the Russian Premier League. That run confirmed him as one of the division's most durable players: he holds the record for the most matches played in the Russian First League among active players, with more than 300 appearances in the division across his career.

In June 2024, Magal joined PFC Sochi as a free agent and again became a key figure in a promotion push. He started the first leg of Sochi's promotion play-off against Pari NN, a 1:2 defeat on 28 May 2025, then was substituted in the second leg three days later as Sochi won 3:1 to secure their return to the Premier League. Every move of his career, including that transfer to Sochi, has come as a free agent.
