About the player
Ralf Seuntjens signed for Lommel in July 2025 having already announced his intention to retire, with 19 goals in 32 appearances in the Challenger Pro League this season.
Seuntjens broke through at RBC Roosendaal, the club he joined from local side BSV Boeimeer, before its bankruptcy in 2011 sent him to FC Den Bosch on a free transfer. His most prolific spell in the Netherlands came at VVV-Venlo, whom he joined in 2015 for a fee of around €100,000. He finished his first season there as the Eerste Divisie's top scorer with 28 goals, then helped the club win the division title and promotion to the Eredivisie the following year with 16 league goals. Two productive years at De Graafschap followed, then a return to his home city with NAC Breda, before an unusual detour to Japan's J3 League with FC Imabari.
He went back to De Graafschap in January 2024, adding another ten goals in 53 appearances, before the move to Lommel. Seuntjens has never won a senior cap for the Netherlands, though his younger brother, Mats, was capped at youth level.
