Ryan Alebiosu

Ryan Alebiosu's international debut lasted only part of one match. During it he suffered a deep, open cut to his leg and was taken to hospital. He missed the rest of the tournament, in which Nigeria finished third after beating Egypt 4–2 on penalties. He has one cap. Alebiosu obtained a Nigerian passport to become eligible to play for the country.

The route to that call-up ran through Arsenal, whose youth system he entered in 2010 at the age of eight. He signed his first professional contract in 2020 but did not play a senior league game for the club. His experience came on loan: six appearances at Crewe Alexandra in the first half of 2022, then a season at Kilmarnock that ended in May 2023.

In September 2023 he left Arsenal for KV Kortrijk in the Belgian Pro League, reportedly for around €360,000. He played 25 times for the Belgian club before going on loan to St Mirren in Scotland.

Blackburn Rovers signed him on 11 July 2025 on a three-year contract with an option for a further year. The fee was not disclosed officially; EFL Analysis put it at £500,000. His first professional goal came on 25 October 2025, in a 2–1 Championship win over Southampton. He has since made close to 50 appearances for the club and was nominated for Blackburn's Player of the Season award for 2025/26.

Injuries have interrupted the season more than once. In February 2026 he suffered a hamstring problem in a match against Hull City.
