Yuri Ribeiro

Yuri Ribeiro has a Taça de Portugal winner's medal from 2016–17, won while he was still at Benfica, and a Polish Cup and Polish Super Cup from his time in Warsaw.

He came through the academies of Braga and then Benfica, where he won the 2013 Portuguese youth title. His senior debut came for Benfica B in 2015, and he went on to make 47 appearances for the reserve side. A season on loan at Rio Ave in 2017–18 gave him regular league football and one goal. Back at Benfica for 2018–19, he played nine times in all competitions, Europa League matches among them.

In July 2019 he moved to Nottingham Forest on a free transfer. He played 52 league games for the club and scored once, against Sheffield Wednesday in December 2020, before leaving as a free agent in 2021.

Legia Warsaw was the longest stay of his career. He signed in August 2021, again on a free transfer, and spent three seasons there, scoring three league goals. The Polish Cup came in 2022–23 and the Super Cup in 2023. The league title did not: Legia finished 10th in 2021–22 and third in 2023–24.

He returned to Braga in August 2024, then joined Blackburn Rovers in February 2025. Early reports described a loan or short-term arrangement, but the contract he signed was permanent.

Internationally, he progressed through Portugal's youth teams from Under-16 to Under-21 and won 46 caps at those levels. He played at the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. He has not been capped by the senior side.
