About the player
Sinclair Armstrong made his senior debut for Shamrock Rovers in August 2018 at the age of 15, after starting out at Cherry Orchard. He went on to play for Shamrock Rovers II in the League of Ireland First Division before a successful trial took him to Queens Park Rangers in late 2020.
At QPR, loan spells at Torquay United and Aldershot Town gave him senior football, and he scored twice in each of those stints. He picked up the club's Young Player of the Year award in consecutive seasons, 2022–23 and 2023–24, and finished his time there with 61 league appearances.
Bristol City signed him on a four-year deal in July 2024. He made 83 appearances in all competitions across his two seasons at Ashton Gate, with seven Championship goals.
